An Emotionally Focused Therapy Approach to Working with Resistant Clients

Anabelle Bugatti, PhD, LMFT ("Dr. Belle") runs a successful private practice in Las Vegas, NV and is the host of the We Heart Therapy YouTube Channel for Therapists, EFT Talk. She is President of Southern Nevada Community for Emotionally Focused Therapy and is an ICEEFT certified EFT Supervisor and Therapist.

Based on "Dr. Belle's" new emotionally focused therapy based book, Using Relentless Empathy in The Therapeutic Relationship: Connecting with Challenging and Resistant Clients, she will present a refreshing approach to resistance in therapy through the attachment lens, and will discuss how to build connections with your most challenging and difficult clients. During the event, feel free to eat lunch (or breakfast depending upon where you are) and we'll learn and discuss the importance of empathy in the therapeutic alliance as a vehicle to promote change and growth. EFT tips to help clinicians work with their most challenging clients will be provided.
