Join us on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 12pm-1:30pm for the forth of five trainings. Each training will be the third Wednesday of each month January-May, 2023. 1.5 SW Ceu's Awarded!

Presenter Roberta Greene MSW, LCSW, PhD will lead us through the resilience-enhancing stress model (RESM) introduced in these webinars is a synthesis of four human behavior theories that provide a foundation for anti-oppressive practice (AOP) comprised of skills and techniques suitable for helping diverse individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. Upon completion of the webinars participants should be better able to understand how life transitions can challenge client’s resilient function and what can be done to resist risks.

The Anti-Oppressive Social Work Resilience-Enhancing webinars explore how to structure client interviews to meet these contemporary struggles. The webinars provide skills related to narrative therapy, anti-oppressive practice, and coaching techniques and are intended for participants to· understand how resilience principles support social work practice· strengthen their skill sets so that they can be better prepared to serve clients who are facing difficult life transitions and challenging environmental demands,· explore how they can structure client narratives to encompass coaching techniques, and ultimately· foster client diversity and inclusion, and combat systemic discrimination

An email will be sent to you with a link to join the training after you register!
