Description
As a therapist, you have seen all types of situations and the ways in which people reach the decision to divorce. Think about the most high conflict divorce you've witnessed. Now think of how the divorce may have resolved differently if there had been a trauma sensitive divorce process as an alternative to contenious litigation.
The Collaborative Family Law Assoction of St. Louis is offering a free continuing education event to help therapists understand:
-
How does grief prolong litigated divorces?
-
What is collaborative divorce and how is it used as an alternative to litigation?
-
How can therapists be a part of a movement that helps clients have a trauma-sensitive process to conscious uncoupling and divorce?
-
How can therapists help their client access collaborative divorce services?
This event qualifies for 2 free CEUs for therapists. Feel free to bring your lunch. Snacks and drinks provided.
Seating is limited, so please RSVP early. You must RSVP in advance to attend as we cannot accommodate new registrants at the door. Arrive at 11:45am to sign in and grab a drink and small snack. Feel free to bring your lunch. The presentation will begin promptly at 12:00am.
