An Afternoon with the Radcliffe Pitches
The HARVARD CLUB of NEW JERSEY invites you to an afternoon of
a cappella music with . . .
THE RADCLIFFE PITCHES
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23rd at 2:00 PM
at the home of Alison Overholt '98
183 Alexander Avenue
Join us for an afternoon of jazz a cappella with the Radcliffe Pitches as they tour New York and New Jersey!
The group, composed of 12 undergraduate women, is the oldest all-female a cappella group at Harvard, founded in 1975 at the historic Hasty Pudding Club. The Pitches are well known for their sophisticated musicality and timeless repertoire inspired by artists like Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra. Every year, the Pitches perform many concerts at Harvard and around the world, with recent destinations including Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico and Canada. This year, the group is raising funds to support a two-week tour to Japan and Hong Kong.
This special event will include the opportunity to meet the individual members of the Radcliffe Pitches and talk with them about their experiences at Harvard, their love of a cappella music, and their upcoming World Tour!
Light refreshments will be served.
