Event description

Description

25.00 person Drawing for workshop participants for 2 free tickets to the April 8th Colonial Dance!

Introducing the " Heritage Trail Association's Historic Arts Center at the Van Horne House". Our first workshop showcasing an Historic Art will be taught by The North River Historic Dancers and we could not be happier! Their easy manner and expertice will help make your dance experience a joyful one.

Do you like to dance? If you have been to the Van Horne's Weekend Journey in October, you have danced with us!

Every April on the Saturday evening of the Battle of Bound Brook (BBB) reenactment, The North River Historic Dancers, with live period music by Anne and Ridley Enslow, call the period dances for a night of fun and friendship.

Dress casually and wear soft soled shoes for this workshop. From noon to 4pm we will learn the dances of our colonial ancestors, the dances that everyone knew just incase a dance broke out!

NO EXPERIENCE necessary..that's what the workshop is for. IF you are an accomplished dancer and just want to come and dance or refresh your memory, you are most welcome.

Refreshements will be served.
