Join us at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort in Anaconda, MT! Relax and enjoy this newly renovated location and learn some new techniques. We kick off the weekend with a great opening class on massage and the Nervous System. Then you will hone your Cranialsacral Therapy toolkit with two classes that will compliment each other well into a nice package of skills. The surrounding area offers hiking, hunting, fishing, rafting, Nordic and Alpine skiing and snowmobiling for the outdoorsman. You will find the area rich in the history of the mining era. Ghost towns, the art deco Washoe Theater, World Museum of Mining and the Montana Tech Mineral Museum can bring to life the days of the past.

Craniosacral Therapy Assessment and Treatment Tools

(8CE) April 29th 9:00 AM-6:30 PM - Carol Gray, LMT, CST, RPYT

In this class you will learn how to figure out where to put your hands (assessment tools), what to do when you get there (treatment tools) and when to quit (signs of release). These things form the foundation of skilled CST practice, but aren’t typically taught in CST training programs. What you learn in this class will complement and enhance CST skills you’ve learned elsewhere. If you have never studied CST you will gain a nice package of skills to provide gentle hands-on treatments for your clients. These skills can be used as a stand-alone practice or blended with any other manual therapy modality. 8 CE

Carol Gray, LMT, CST, RPYT has been a therapeutic bodyworker for over 26 years. She specializes in Craniosacral Therapy for pregnant and new mothers, infants and children and pioneered the integration of this gentle manual therapy into prenatal care, the birth place and postpartum care for moms and babies. I teach high-quality, small group classes that are appropriate for bodyworkers, birth attendants and other health professionals. I am approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education approved provider. Carol has also supported new mothers and has attended births for over 35 years – at first as a doula and from 2000 to 2012 as a midwife.
