About this event
Whether in biology, chemistry, or even certain physics labs, high-quality and sturdy safety goggles are imperative for every science student. We at AMSA ARC understand this and consider the safety of our members a high priority, so much so that we hold an annual goggle sale every summer and at the beginning of every semester.
In addition, we offer only the best in comfort with the UVEX Stealth Goggles, one of the most popular on the industrial market offering the highest level of comfort, protection, and performance... with premier design and technology. The goggles are a low wrap-around style in a soft polypropylene/elastomer body, which conforms for an excellent, gap-free fit and provides a full field of vision. Indirect venting prevents fogging, and the anti-scratch coating on the lens makes it ideal for shielding against impacts, chemical splashes, and optical radiation (99.9% UV).

About the organizer
The American Medical Student Association at American River College (AMSA ARC) pre-med Chapter was chartered in February 2003. It is one of only a few pre-medical chapters at the community college level that is recognized and charted by National AMSA. AMSA ARC has taken steps to ensure that guidance for students interested in pursuing a career in medicine. During the last 5 years, AMSA ARC has been active in the local Sacramento region by promoting awareness about medicine and providing opportunities in community service, research, and visits to prestigious medical schools such as Stanford, UC Davis, UCSF and Touro. AMSA ARC is also active in the community by mentoring elementary students in reading, math, and science, and spearheading several projects with the Habitat for Humanity Sacramento chapter.
