As the first step toward AMPP’s Fundamentals of Protective Coatings (C1) course, it covers the essentials: the role of coatings in corrosion prevention, common coating types, surface preparation requirements, and application methods. You’ll also learn how inspectors ensure coatings perform as intended. By the end, you’ll have the foundational knowledge to make informed decisions and be ready to advance into the full C1 course.
