Event description

Description

Join Women In Transition (WIT) for an evening of poetry to heal, share your stories, and speak out about violence, trauma, empowerment, and joy.

What have we survived? What keeps us going? Who holds us up? Where do we draw our strength?

Our 3rd Annual Amplifying Our Voices is a safe space for us to speak our truths and celebrate our strengths, with readings by poets:

  • Trapeta Mayson

  • James Enoch Church

  • Ashley Davis

  • Pat McClean-Smith

  • Ursula Rucker

Suggested donation: $5-10 online or cash at the door.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds!
