Did you know that in just over an hour you can collect valuable information on local frog, toad, and salamander populations that help to better understand and protection amphibians? Where do we meet?

Each program will meet at the parking lot area of the appropriate preserve.

What if I am late?

We will begin the sampling promptly at the start time listed, please make every effort to arrive a few minutes prior to the start time.

What do I need to bring with me?

The sampling team will bring everything need to collect the samples but please wear appropriate attire for walking in the woods/muddy areas and bring plenty of water. Please note that bug spray, hand sanitizer, and lotions can harm amphibians - minimal use of these products prior to sampling is strongly advised.

What if it is raining?

As long as thunderstorms are not in the forecast - we will sample!

Why are there age restrictions and small groups?

To mimize our impact on the amphibians and the wetland habitats, we have reduced the size of our group.

What if I can no longer attend?
