AMPAH 2020/21
Event Information
About this Event
The Department of Classics and Ancient History at the University of Exeter is pleased to host the 2020/21 Annual Meeting of Postgraduates in Ancient History.
The conference will be entirely online, taking place Thursday 18th March and Friday 19th March 2021.
AMPAH is an annual event that provides postgraduates with the opportunity to gain experience presenting their work and network with peers. Traditionally, the social aspect of AMPAH has been an important element of the conference. Therefore, in lieu of the usual reception, we will be hosting a casual online event on the Thursday evening.
This year we have two keynote addresses from University of Exeter academics:
Professor Richard Flower, “Uncertain Causes, or What To Do When A Senator Throws His Wife Out Of The Window”
Dr Emma Nicholson, “Cracking the Code of A Changing World – Polybius’ Guide to Leadership and Adaptation”
Attendance is free but registration essential.
