June Service Project
Twin Cities AmeriCorps Alums will be partnering with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity and landscaping a home for a family in need. This volunteer opportunity will give former and current AmeriCorps members a chance to work together, connect to other members, expand your network, and make a difference in the community. (After the service project, if people are interested, we can have an informal social event at a location nearby).
Date: Saturday, June 15
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Worksite: 401 Newton Avenue N, Minneapolis, 55405
Project Type: Landscaping
Please note the following:
- You should wear several layers. We will be doing work outside, so check the weather.
- Tools will be provided on-site.
- There should be drinking water on-site, but bring a water bottle just in case.
- Lunch will not be provided, but there are places to eat nearby or we can order pizza.
- Once you register, we will email additional instructions to you
It is very important to Habitat for Humanity and the families that they serve for us to have a full team. If you have any questions or need to cancel, please email Michael Zuniga at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for volunteering and continuing your service.
