Description

Edgar Allan Poe’s work as a poet, writer, editor and critic in the 1800’s has influenced modern American literature. Known best for his tales of the morbid and mysterious, he is one of the creators of detective fiction. We will discuss Poe’s work and literary contributions as well as the struggles that he faced throughout his life and career.
