Overview:

The last two decades of conflict have revealed a requirement for whole of society approaches to our nation’s security and stability challenges. Given the current threat environment, it has never been more vital that we harness all aspects of national power to prevent, mitigate, and resolve conflict. One often-overlooked resource at the United States’ disposal is the American veteran community represented by The American Legion. The experiences, expertise, and commitment of the men and women who have worn the uniform have tremendous potential to benefit our nation’s security. The combat veterans providing private assistance in support of deployed U.S. troops and diplomats on behalf of the nonprofit organization Spirit of America are a prime example of this opportunity.

Lunch will be provided for registered guests.
