Event description

Description

Please join us the always popular annual American Girl Doll Tea!

We are proud to present Bright Star Touring Theatre from North Carolina for an hour long performance. They will be presenting an inspiring exploration of the lives and work of notable American women. From Amelia Earhart and Laura Ingalls Wilder to Sacajawea and Susan B. Anthony, this play celebrates the courageous, confident women who have helped shape our country.

Participants will gather in the assembly hall upstairs for both the performance and the reception of tea, juice, tea sandwiches and more that will follow. Guests may also tour the library and the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame’s traveling Inductee Portrait Exhibit, which features 25 pictures and biographies of famed Connecticut women.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. The program registration fee for this event is $25 per person. This event sells out every year so please register early! Both girls and boys are invited. Bring your American Girl Doll or any other doll (or bear) you wish. Raffle tickets will be available to win Luciana, 2018 American Girl Doll of the Year!

Tickets are available at http://www.woodmemoriallibrary.org/programs/american-girl-doll-tea/
