Support the South's future in flight and empower more women in aviation and aerospace. Attend the Amelia Earhart Luncheon & Aviation Career Fair at the Southern Museum of Flight.
From 9:30 to 12 noon, young women and men may network with local aviation businesses and collegues working within the field and connect with possible job opportunities in aviation and aerospace. The fair is available for admission of $10 to the museum with some proceeds benefitting the Mary Alice Beatty scholarship. The scholarship is dedicated to the family legacy of the Southern Museum of Flight's creator Mary Alice Beatty; a pilot, adventurer, and business woman.
At 11 AM the Zonta Club of Birmingham and the Ninety-Nines of Alabama will hold the Amelia Earhart Luncheon with keynote speaker Dr. Deborah Barnhart, CEO and Executive Director of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. The annual luncheon raises funds for the Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum in Atchison, KS. It will also award the Southern Museum of Flight's Women in Aviation, International Mary Alice Beatty Scholarship and the Ninety Nines scholarship. The luncheon is $30.
Prices are avialable for those who wish to participate in a single event or both.

11 AM to 1PM the Amelia Earhart Luncheon with silent auction, and keynote speaker Dr. Deborah Barnhart, CEO and Executive Director of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
