Ambulatory Frame

The demand for ambulatory care nurses will continue to increase over the next several years. In addition, the scope of ambulatory care nursing is expected to broaden. Becoming certified in ambulatory care nursing will enable RNs to meet increasing expectations by increasing confidence, developing new skills and taking on additional responsibilities. Participants will become proficient in the roles and responsibilities, including plan of care, care management, patient education, telehealth, patient safety guidelines and protocols, as well as legal issues within ambulatory care nursing.

This five-week self-paced program combines online education with live webinars to provide you with a study choice that fits your learning needs and schedule and is aligned with the core elements of the certification exam. Complete the online examination and earn 12.0 contact hours.

Nurse.com - Intensive CE Series

The Intensive CE Series combines live webinars with independent web-based study, creating a “virtual classroom” environment.  Tackling complex initiatives, we break them into key topics, and bring nationally known experts right into the attendee’s home, office or facility.

Learners go through a multiple week engagement with the same small group of peers, so they can share practices and questions together in an interactive “two-way” webinar experience from wherever they live or work. Between webinars, learners complete independent online study modules to reinforce and apply their new learning and prepare for the next session.
