Ambrose Akinmusire Quartet
Trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire is one of the hottest artists on the jazz scene today. Winner of the 2007 Thelonius Monk International Jazz Competition, he studied with Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, and Terence Blanchard, and possesses a “unique spark in his playing” (The New Yorker).
