Amateur Radio (HAM) License Class
Event Information
Description
Part of being prepared for disaster or an emergency requires that you be able to communicate when all conventional communication links are no longer available. This is where Amateur Radio Operators also know as HAM Radio Operators come to the rescue. Proven over time these licensed operators aid the community when all else fails. Recently in Texas, Florida and around the country, hundreds of Ham Radio Operators supported the relief effort by providing needed communications. Ham Radio is also a fun and exciting hobby.
