Event description
How COVID-19 changed how we communicate at work.

About this event

A global pandemic impacted almost all aspects of our lives. One result: work relationships are more real than they used to be.

The pandemic has had a profound impact on us all, in so many different ways. From the tragedy of 5 million deaths across the world and 250 million+ cases of COVID-19, to vaccines and scientific advances that bring hope, to popular technology that has the power to turn our homes into offices, classrooms and fitness studios.

While COVID-19 is still with us, what have we learned along the way about communicating with the people we work with? During a crisis, priorities shift. People need clear direction. Some of us never left the workplace. Others converted almost overnight to a virtual office, now evolving to a hybrid work environment. Explore what has changed in our work communications—wherever that is. Consider what you can do to retain high performing employees during the Great Resignation. And finally, determine the actions you can take to change your organization’s communications to help strengthen your work culture and re-engage employees in your mission and vision for the future.
