Employers often understand the value of hiring employees from diverse backgrounds and creating environments where employees feel a real sense of belonging. Specialized employment programs offered at ACCES Employment position both newcomers and their respective employers to navigate the nuances of diversity, equity and inclusivity.

Johanna Hoffmann, CEO, Oomp Group Inc.
A creative marketing and business development leader, Johanna is known for her ability to integrate inventive marketing tactics with business development strategies and campaigns that drive results for professional services firms and organizations. She has held executive marketing positions with global architecture, engineering and entertainment design leaders, where she led successful market entries into Asia, the Americas and the Middle East, and established global marketing and BD infrastructures. Prior to working client-side, Johanna led one of Toronto’s best known PR and marketing boutiques, Buzz Marketing, delivering strategic communications, media and community relations, promotions, special event management and sponsorship development services in Canada and the United States.A passionate volunteer, she was a Public Art Commissioner for the City of Toronto and the Chair of the Red Ribbon Campaign. She has served on the Boards of Directors of Canada’s Ballet Jörgen, Arts Toronto/the Arts Foundation of Greater Toronto, Tapestry NewOperaWorks and Fife House Foundation.
Sue Sadler, SVP, Services and Program Innovation, ACCES Employment
Sue Sadler is the Senior Vice President of Services and Program Innovation at ACCES Employment. She specializes in the design and expansion of labour market development programs. Throughout Sue’s longstanding career, she assumed an innovative approach to designing and implementing programs and supports that align the skill-set of marginalized job seekers with the needs of employers. In order to safeguard employment retention and promote career mobility, Sue introduced experiential learning, future skills and post-hire support strategies into programming. She also assumed a pivotal role in establishing 7 major portfolios at ACCES. These include: services for women; refugee services; pre-arrival programming; sector-specific bridging; youth at risk; bilingual services; and alternative careers. Sue is an Aspen Institute Fellow who focuses on executive leadership and workforce development.
Taslim Ahmed, Communications Advisor, IPAC Marketing & Communications Consultant, PLC Group
Taslim Ahmed has been in Canada a little more than a year ago and has come from ,from Bangladesh. Professionally he has spent more than 15 years in developing his skills as an accomplished Marketing and Corporate Communication. Professional with expertise in brand and image management, strategy, community and stakeholder relations, events and sponsorship and so on. He spent his career in various sectors in global telecoms, CPG, retail, educational institutes, advertising and professional associations where I worked in organizations like Singapore Telecom, Nestle, McCann World Group etc. Its been quite a unique spread with various brands. He has earned international awards for his earlier organizations too. As far as education is concerned, he is a business graduate. Recently he has done certification from U of T on Digital Marketing Management and the other one on Digital Strategy is half the way completed to complement his university education and remain contemporary.
