Event description

Description

Are you losing market share by leaving out segments of potential customers and clients? Join Jeff Selby for AMA PDX’s March luncheon as he introduces you to the concept of equity and the use of an equity lens in your work.

Start the new year with valuable marketing insights and skills.* By learning more about systemic racism, understanding implicit bias, and adopting an equity lens, we can become more inclusive marketers and discover new audiences.

*Please note this event was originally scheduled for Thursday, January 12th but was rescheduled to Tuesday, March 14th due to weather/snow issues.

Jeff Selby is Communications Coordinator for the City of Portland’s Office of Equity and Human Rights and owner of AIW Creative. In previous lives, Jeff was Marketing Director for Kuni BMW-Cadillac-Saab, an Imagineer at Walt Disney Company, and an award-winning broadcast combat correspondent with the U.S. Army. His casual presentation style, social justice background, humor, and diverse storytelling experience will make for an enlightening lunch discussion around a topic that is so important to marginalized and underrepresented communities.
