Today’s marketers are facing numerous challenges. One of the top questions that they’re asking themselves is how their products can evolve and stay relevant in today’s always-changing, ultra-competitive environment. An easy answer to this question is innovation. But, innovation is a complex topic. And it doesn’t apply to just the content you’re creating but also the ways in which you’re connecting with consumers. The strength of content lies in creating an emotional connection with your audience and where, when and how you show up in culture allows you to create powerful connections with the right audience.

To help shed some light on how brands can immerse themselves into the game of innovation, we’re bringing together representatives of various corporate brands that are leading the way for “what’s next”. Panel members include Chris Moloney, Chief Marketing Officer at TaxSlayer, John Webster, Product Marketing at The Weather Company and Zoe Glade, Managing Director, Digital Marketing at American Cancer Society. The evening will be moderated by Peter Scott, Vice President of Emerging Media & Innovation at Turner Studios. Join us for an evening panel where we’ll discuss why the relationship between the content you’re putting out, and the data you’re collecting is a crucial element of translating your innovative idea into an actionable go-to-market plan.

Pete Scott is vice president of emerging media and innovation for Turner Studios. In this role, Scott advises internal brands on the effectiveness of emerging media, innovation and audience intelligence across the entire Turner portfolio. Additionally, he is helping to lead the charge on ELEAGUE, the professional eSports league established in partnership between Turner and WME | IMG. As a digital strategist that has been moving through the ranks at Turner for more than 26 years, Pete has helped the company develop and evolve into a leading force in the digital media space.



Chris Moloney, Chief Marketing Officer, TaxSlayer

Chris MoloneyChris Moloney is Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Partnerships for TaxSlayer, a leading online and professional tax and financial technology company. Trusted for over 50 years, TaxSlayer is headquartered in beautiful Augusta, Georgia. Previously, Chris was CMO of three major brands including Scottrade, Wells Fargo Advisors, and Experian where he led each firm during a period of rapid growth.


John Webster, Product Marketing Manager, The Weather Company IBM

John Webster

John Webster is responsible for Product Marketing in the US for the world’s most downloaded weather app – The Weather Channel. In his current role he is responsible for optimizing the customer acquisition flow for the category-leading app including app store optimization and product marketing strategies. Prior to his role at The Weather Company, an IBM Business, John led mobile product marketing for YP.com where he was responsible for user acquisition, engagement, and retention.


Zoe Glade, Vice President, Digital Marketing, American Cancer Society

Zoe Glade

Zoe combines her love of marketing with the sciences of data and technology. A true marketing technologist, she has helped lead marketing strategy, ecommerce, digital and social at The Home Depot, SPANX, The Coca-Cola Company and now the American Cancer Society. Her main focus is to drive brand value and revenue through multi-channel strategies while focusing on providing consumers with the best possible experiences.

Zoe holds a B.A. in Public Relations from the University of Tennessee and an M.A. in Journalism and Public Policy from American University. She lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband Jeffrey and their yellow labs, Ben and Sam.
