Alzheimer's/Dementia and Assistive Technology

Who should attend: Anyone interested in learning about Alzheimer's, Dementia and Assitive Technology that can assist those with Alzheimer's or Dementia. Therapists, social workers, Vocational Rehabilitation counselors, caregivers and family members can benefit from this training content.
Why: This FREE assistive technology training program will educate participants about the basics of Dementia/Alzheimer's which would include things such as: warning signs, managing the disease and communication with a person who has Alzheimer's/Dementia. We will have service providers discussing support services for folks with Alzheimer's/Dementia and services available to caregivers and family members. We will then show Assistive Technology that will help address the needs of those with Alzheimer's/Dementia.
