Event description

Description

Please join us for the inaugural Alzheimer’s Scientific Roundtable on March 16th in Tokyo, Japan – an intimate and high-level convening focused on placing Alzheimer’s at the center of the Japanese-led G20 health agenda in 2019.

Co-convened by ResearchersAgainstAlzheimer’s, Health and Global Policy Institute, the University of Tokyo, and Eisai Inc., the roundtable will bring together high-level stakeholders from across the Alzheimer’s landscape – including researchers, academics, government officials, and private sector leaders – around three goals:

  • Accelerating scientific advances to improve treatment for Alzheimer’s
  • Identifying innovations to help meet the global goal of stopping the disease by 2025
  • Developing a set of recommendations to spur G20 action during Japanese Prime Minister Abe's presidency in 2019

This small group, invitation-only event aims to spur a lively discussion among all participants that are captured in a communique to the G20. Meeting details are below:

Date: March 16, 2018
Location: Ito International Research Center - University of Tokyo, Conference Room (3rd floor), 7-3-1, Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, 113-0033
