Althea-Imperial Programme 2017 Final Showcase Event
Tue, March 21, 2017, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM GMT
Join us for the final showcase event, where our selected finalists will pitch their innovative ideas to a panel of academic and industry experts as they compete for a total of £20,000 available as prizes to take their projects forward.
The Althea-Imperial partnership is a pioneering collaboration between Imperial College London, a world-leading university for innovation and entrepreneurship, and The Althea Foundation, an internationally renowned social venture philanthropic foundation. Celebrated entrepreneurs Dame Stephanie Shirley and Sherry Coutu CBE joined us to support the Programme at its launch in October 2014.
Both the Programme and its associated £10,000 top prize is designed to encourage top female students at Imperial College London to develop their entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills. Through a series of exclusive development opportunities, including one-to-one expert advice, high-profile speakers, and performance simulation training, these students have nurtured their innovative ideas into enterprising projects.
