Please join us for the eleventh in our series of half-day training workshops designed for HR professionals.
With almost daily news stories about companies being investigated for the use of zero hour contracts and poor treatment of agency workers, along with reports about the financial gains to be made by companies supporting flexible working, our workshop on so-called “atypical working” will help you to understand what all the fuss is about.
There are many alternative work models which do not fit the classic or traditional concept of an employee working full-time on a permanent basis for a single employer. We have seen a rapid increase in flexibility and diversity of relationships and practices in the workplace, which has made it harder to decide whether an individual works under an employment contract and, if so, for whom.
In this workshop we will be looking at the different types of workers and the rights and obligations that should be considered for each of the following employment relationships
- Part time working
- Fixed term contracts
- Zero hours / casual workers
- Home workers
- Agency workers
- Volunteers and Interns
- Self employed consultants
You will have the chance to pick our brains on any questions you may have on any of these topics or indeed any other area of employment law.
