About this Event

Budapest has become a mecca for artists all over the world. If you have a fascination with street art and want to learn more about the scene, come to our street art tour. The tour is focused on vii district which was a ghetto in WW2, in recent years it has gone from a run down area of the city to one the coolest hispter districts.

It seems like everywhere you turn in Budapests vii distrcit there’s some kind of fascinating work that begs to be admired; and luckily our team of tour guides can lead you to many of these pieces of graffiti and murals Budapest.

The tour examines the groth and the meaning of the illegal street art and legal murals of the vii district. The tour explores the history of this Jewish neighborhood which in recent years has transformed into one of the most hip of Urban districts. The tour finishes at one of the most famous ruin bars.

This is a great tour to attend in the evening when the city has a more relaxing feels as it is often too hot and busy in the day time

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings at 6pm from Blaha Lujza tér, Budapest, 1085Meeting point: NEXT to the Fountain on the main square of Blaha Lujza tér and look for our guides holding the yellow umbrella. The guides arrive 10mins before the start of the tour.

Travel: Blaha ter is a central and well known location in Budapest. Bus 99 will take you there. Tram 4/6 and trams 37a, 28 will all take you to the square. It is located on metro line M2.

Tour duration of 1.5 hours.
