There are 80+ grape varieties grown in Oregon. One of them is Pinot Noir. What about the rest?

About this event

Brought to you by Sunday School Wine, Alt Wine Fest 2022 is the place to sample the full range of wines that Oregon has to offer.

Featuring 35 winemakers and over 100 wines. Winemakers will be pouring some of the “other” 80+ non-pinot noir Oregon varieties. You’ll find familiar favorites such as gamay, pinot gris and chardonnay, as well as some off-the-wall varieties—chasselas or savagnin rose, anyone?

Happening at the scenic Abbey Road Farm (Carlton, Oregon), Alt Wine 2022 is more than a wine tasting—it’s Oregon’s other wine fest.

Taco truck, music selections by DJ Party Marty, lawn games, and more.

The Rules (Serious Stuff)

  • Strictly 21+ only, including designated drivers
  • No pets (though we love them!)
  • Valid government-issued photo ID required for entry – no exceptions (yes, this includes all you Sunday School regulars!)
  • Please be careful with your wristband—no replacements!
  • Take advantage of those spit buckets. Winemakers won’t serve anyone inebriated.
  • Please don't drink and drive—make sure you have a plan on how to get home. OLCC rules say we have to call the cops on anyone looking drunk who gets behind the wheel.
  • Designated drivers (ie, non-drinkers) are allowed free entry (though they must “purchase” a DD ticket). Designated drivers cannot sample any alcohol. In accordance with the OLCC anyone caught drinking without a wristband will be ‘86ed’ immediately. Anyone transferring wristbands will also be ejected.
  • Wineries will stop serving 15 minutes before close.
  • Wines will be available for purchase but cannot be consumed on premise.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
