Event description

Description

Alpha is a course designed for those who have questions. Not just everyday questions, like what should I have for lunch, or do I match my socks with my shoes or my pants, but questions like: What is the meaning of life? Is there a God, and who is he? How do I find the peace and happiness I so desperately long for? These are the questions that well up in the deepest areas of the human heart.

Alpha has been described as an introductory course in Christianity. It has a three-part structure: 1) A meal shared with friends, 2) An engaging video dealing with the question of the week, like "Is there a God?" or "Who is Jesus?" and, 3) A discussion period, where you can say whatever you want, (really!), or just listen to what other people have to say, based on your level of comfort. The environment is designed so that you can feel comfortable sharing as much or as little as you like, and saying what you really think about all of this!

This course will be held from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Library at St. Stanislaus School. All are welcome from any background.
