An evening of scholarship and community as the Sankofa Foundation of Dallas/Ft.Worth and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. - Xi Tau Lambda Chapter invites you to join us for our Alpha Legacy Celebration 2022! The event will honor our annual scholarship recipients in the DFW area as well as local leaders making an impact in the community. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Sankofa Foundation Scholarship Program.

This year, we’re excited to present our event at the Embassy Suites Frisco Hotel & Convention Center in Frisco, Texas, on Saturday, May 14, 2022. Tickets include a cocktail reception, dinner, program and entertainment. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in our silent auction! Event attire is semi-formal. Cocktail hour at 6:00 PM followed by the dinner & program at 7:00 PM.

The celebration continues after the dinner program with a special performance by Dallas musician, Mahogany TheArtist (mahoganytheartist.com).

The Sankofa Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, was established in 1997. The Foundation’s mission is to support the under-served youth in the Dallas metroplex by delivering top-quality mentoring programs and youth-outreach initiatives. Our primary program, the Alpha Legacy Group, encourages education, builds self-esteem and promotes good citizenship to it’s participants. In addition, scholarships are awarded to students in the Dallas metroplex pursuing a post-secondary education.
