The election of Donald Trump has inspired many of us to join the fight for racial justice. But many of us also have questions. What's my stake in the fight for racial justice? How do I get involved? What does showing up actually look like? How do I show up in the most helpful way? Ally is a Verb (Part 1) is a workshop designed to help you answer those questions. It will help you articulate your stake, and role, in the ongoing fight for racial justice in Chicago and beyond.
About the location: Parking is limited, but the space is very central to public transit, including the Brown and Red Lines, Broadway, Clark, Halsted, Belmont and Diversey buses.
To enter, use the entrance to your right as you look at the building from the sidewalk. There are some steps inside, but also a small elevator.
Cost: Free. But we will be accepting cash donations to cover the cost of the space.
