Team Easy Breezy

Comedian Griff, Attorney and Autism Advocate Shannon Nash and Actor and Director, Tommy Ford are team Easy Breezy, bringing fun and entertainment with a social mission.  In March the trio created several Autism Public Service Announcements in order to help spread awareness.

Autism has become the most common and least funded diagnosis amongst children in the last decade. These PSAs aim to inform the public on this disability that is affecting, now, one in every 50 school age children and 1 in 88 children in the US overall.   These PSAs aim to bring awareness particularly in African-American and Latino communities.

Our approach used humor to talk about a very serious subject. 11 people with autism, ranging from 7 to 47 were selected to participate in these PSA’s to share their stories and to inform the public. They were interviewed, recorded and filmed talking about the different types of Autism, as well as adding some humorous stories and anecdotes. From the Harlem Shake to reciting autism facts, the PSAs aim to spark conversation in a non-threatening manner to show people with autism have talents and can be productive members of society.

Easy Breezy Productions has joined up with Actors for Autism as our 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner.  A percentage of the proceeds from the Comedy Show will be donated to Actors for Autism.
