Previously, he was CEO of Melodeo (acquired by HP) and CEO of Paul Allen-backed Asymetrix (IPO in 1998). James is a founding partner of Charge Northwest, an electric vehicle infrastructure advisory and software integration company, executive producer of the Academy Award nominated documentary Chasing Ice, and the inventor of more than 100 granted or filed patents.
Pam Jacobson is a Partner at K&L Gates. She has a broad IP practice and has successfully litigated patent, trademark, and other IP disputes throughout the United States. She also manages the patent and trademark portfolios of some of the largest companies and universities in the Pacific Northwest. Her technical background is in computational chemistry and molecular biology, and prior to attending law school, she worked as a research scientist at the University of Chicago and Honeywell International.
