Join us at the waterfront Halyard Restaurant for a cocktail reception, 5-course tasting menu with wine pairing, and auction to support the development of the documentary, "All the Best, Jean-Louis." Stay the night at Sound View Greenport Hotel and receive 15% off your room with the code "CHEF"

Chef Jean-Louis Palladin is considered to be one of the most influential chefs in culinary history, having won two Michelin Stars at 28 years old and being one of the pioneers of farm-to-table, yet his story is untold. Chef Palladin was a major influence on the careers of master chefs including Éric Ripert who are featured in the film as well as Halyard Executive Chef Stephan Bogardus who designed the evening's menu in his honor. Enjoy a spectacular evening of food and wine and learn about the life of Chef Palladin from those he touched including Chef Bogardus, daughter Verveine Palladin, and the documentary's Creator and Executive Producer Suzi Bittles of King Moon.

An auction will also be held to raise funds for the documentary with items including signed copies of Chef Palladin's books, dinner for 10 at your home prepared by Chef Bogardus and the Halyard's award-winning mixologist Derrick Erwee, artwork by Bruce Dorow, a Sound View stay package, and more.

The event will be filmed for social media purposes. It is also contemplated that parts of it may be used in the documentary film project, "All the Best, Jean-Louis". With the purchase of a ticket you authorize and consent to use your image or any interview statements in connection with the project.

ABOUT ALL THE BEST JEAN-LOUIS - What Mick Jagger is to rock and roll, Chef Jean-Louis Palladin was to the American culinary world. All the Best, Jean-Louis is a story told almost 20 years after his death, as his daughter Verveine Palladin begins her journey searching to discover the legacy of her father. Her memories are strong of his mischievous sense of humor, but she was too young to have fully realized the enormous impact her father had as one of the most important culinary influences on American culture in the 20th century. Charming by nature, and dramatic due to the tragic loss,the storytelling will be rich in lively conversations with master Chefs Daniel Boulud, Alain Ducasse, Thomas Keller, Jacques Pépin, Éric Ripert, and many others.
