Description

If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. 1 Corinthians 12: 26

Conference Purpose

At OCC, we believe that all people are created in the image of God. We also believe that racism dishonors that identity - both in the people harmed by racism and those who benefit.

But God’s reconciling power is at work and we want to be a part of it. The first All Church Conference is a foundational step for living into the gospel reconciliation, redemption, and restoration.

We invite you to join together with us on October 6 and 7. We all have something to learn, and something to offer in this important conversation. Together we will:

  • Develop a shared biblical understanding of what it means to be an anti-racist and reconciling church.

  • Gather in affinity groups to fellowship and share our experiences as people of color and white people.

  • Establish next steps for deeper cultural agility as a church and as individuals.

There will be sessions for adults and children.
