On Friday, October 18, 2019 and Saturday, October 19, 2019, 6:30-10 PM at Naper Settlement you can experience two of the darkest nights of the year with 12-acres of haunting creatures, eerie entertainment, screaming delights and must-see horrors. Like a haunted house on steroids, this one-of-a-kind experience brings some of the scariest characters of the past, present and future to life. Meet the lost souls of the dead in a haunted happening you won’t forget.

Online ticket sales will end at NOON on Thursday, October 17. Tickets will still be available at the door. This is subject to change once capacity is reached.

Our historic buildings are turned into H.H. Holmes’ Murder Castle, Frankenstein’s Laboratory, a Torture Dungeon, Victorian Insane Asylum and so much more. Beware! Be Scared! Please be aware that access to the haunt in the Martin Mitchell Mansion is limited.

All Hallows Eve is an outdoor, all-weather event. All ticket sales are final, no refunds or exchanges. No rain checks. Dated tickets may not be exchanged.

All items brought into the grounds (including, without limitation, bags, backpacks, purses, strollers, etc.) are subject to search upon entry or re-entry.


Can I wear a costume to the event? Guests are not permitted to wear costumes to the event. Only Naper Settlement performers will be in costume.

Can I bring in my own food? Will food be available? One factory sealed bottle of unflavored water or empty container (no glass) per attendee is permitted. There will be numerous food vendors onsite for the duration fo the event. Please check our event website to see a complete list of vendors.

Is your site ADA Accessible?

- Yes, Naper Settlement makes every effort to offer you a variety of accessibility options in which to participate in the museum and event experience. While navigation of the grounds is available on paved pathways, some event elements are set up on grassy areas. For each special event, there are designated ADA viewing areas. We request that patrons who require ADA accommodations contact us at least 2 weeks before a special event, so we can ensure the best overall experience.

- Many of the historic buildings have ramps and/or lifts to provide access. However, due to the historic nature, some of the buildings have limited accessibility.

Are dogs allowed at the event? Only service dogs are permitted.

Is there anything I am not permitted to bring to the event? Please do not bring or wear any of the following items:

- Costumes. Guests attending this event are not permitted to enter wearing costumes of any type.

- Outside food or beverages, including, but not limited to, any containers, coolers, picnic baskets, open or closed bottles, etc.

- Bicycles, scooters, or inline skates

- Pets (Service animals are permitted)

- Tents, umbrellas over six feet in diameter, canopies of any size,

- Anything that needs to be staked into the ground.

- Weapons. Laser Pointers, Drones

Things I should know about the event? The All Hallows event program will be available on October 1st on our website at: Naper Settlement - All Hallows Eve Event

- Some performances may include haze, aromatics, strobe lights and/or other special effects.

Are my tickets good for both days? TICKETS are only good for date of purchase - not both days.

What are my parking options for the event? There is no-fee parking available in several locations around Naper Settlement, including on-street, parking garages at the northeast corner of Aurora Avenue & Webster Street, and the corner of South Webster Street and Porter Avenue.

What's the refund policy? All Hallows Eve is an outdoor, all-weather event. All ticket sales are final, no refunds, exchanges or rain checks.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Yes. Please bring your tickets.

Are there ATMs onsite? There will be an ATM onsite for all special events.

Is smoking permitted? Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.
