For 30 years, the All American Inaugural Ball has been a trailblazer in inaugural celebrations, redefining tradition to honor the spirit of all of America and the heroes who bring out the best in us.


A tribute to American heroes, the All American Inaugural Ball celebrates the individuals who sacrifice and serve others daily. The VIP Upgrade Package is an add-on, which get purchased in addition to Platinum VIP Tickets, and unlock these benefits:

  • Reserved seating for you and those in your group all night (6pm-12am), in the exclusive VIP-PLUS Lounge.

HOW VIP UPGRADES WORK - IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

Note: Only Platinum VIP Ticket holders may use the VIP Upgrades

  1. First, everyone in your group must purchase a Platinum VIP Ticket
  2. Then, a designated “Group Leader” purchases a VIP Upgrade Package(s) for your group, based on the number of people in your group
  • There are two kinds of VIP Upgrade Packages:
  • VIP Upgrade (4-Seat Package): This includes reserved seating and upgrade amenities for 4 Platinum VIP Guests
  • VIP Upgrade (6-Seat Package): This includes reserved seating and upgrade amenities for 6 Platinum VIP Guests
  1. The Group Leader receives the Upgrade Package Ticket(s) via email (the same way you receive your Platinum VIP Tickets).
  2. When you get to the event, each person in your group uses their own Platinum VIP Ticket to enter the event at the main entrance.
  3. Once inside the event, your Group Leader redeems the VIP Upgrade Package Ticket(s) that they purchased for Upgrade Wristbands, which he/she then distributes to your group. Each wristband grants one Platinum VIP Ticket holder access into the VIP-PLUS Lounge.
  4. Then, you and your friends have the time of your lives!


Example: If you have a group of 10 people:

  • You purchase 10 Platinum VIP Tickets.
  • You purchase one 4-Seat Upgrade Package and one 6-Seat Upgrade Package.
  • Each person uses their Platinum VIP ticket to enter the event.
  • At the event, your group leader redeems the Upgrade Package Tickets for 10 wristbands, granting access to the VIP PLUS Lounge.

Common Questions About Reserved Seating/VIP Upgrades:

Q: Can I buy a VIP Upgrade if I have already purchased a Platinum VIP ticket.

A: YES. The VIP Upgrade Packages are an add-on to the Platinum VIP Tickets. In other words, you need to purchase Platinum VIP Tickets, AND VIP Upgrades if you and your group wish to enjoy the benefits of the VIP Upgrade. You can purchase the VIP Upgrade Packages at the same time you purchase the VIP Platinum tickets, or later on as a separate purchase. However, there are very limited Upgrade Packages available, and they will sell out quickly.


Q: Can I get reserved seating with a Gold Ticket?
A: No, reserved seating is only available with the VIP Upgrade or Presidential Pass.

Q: Can I use a VIP Upgrade Package if I don’t have a Platinum VIP Ticket?
A: No, VIP Upgrade services/amenities are only available to Platinum VIP Ticket holders who also have the VIP Upgrade wristband.

Q: What if I have an odd number of people in my group?

A: In that case you would need to purchase the number of VIP Upgrade Packages to cover the number of guests you have. For example: If you have 11 people in your group, the Group Leader would purchase two 6-seat Upgrade Packages.

Q: How do I make sure my group sits together?
A: Ensure all group members have Platinum VIP Tickets. Then, the group leader can purchase the appropriate VIP Upgrade Package(s). There will be signage on the reserved tables in the VIP PLUS Lounge, with the Group Leader’s name.

Members of Congress and the administration, other US dignitaries, members of the media, All American Hero Award recipients, industry leaders, and ticket purchasers are invited to attend the All American Inaugural Ball.

What are the seating arrangements at the VIP MIXER portion of the evening (6pm-8pm)

The VIP MIXER (8pm-12am) will feature open-table, unassigned seating, and high-tops, for VIP Ticket holders. That means there is NO RESERVED SEATING, unless you have purchased the VIP Upgrade. Those with VIP Upgrades will have reserved seating at both the VIP Mixer and at the Ball.

What are the seating arrangements at The BALL portion of the evening (6pm-8pm)?

The Ball (8pm-12am) is a reception-style gala. That means there is NO SEATING, unless you have purchased a VIP Upgrade. Those with VIP Upgrades will have reserved seating at both the Mixer and the Ball.

How do I buy tickets to the All American Inaugural Ball?

Tickets are currently available to the public through this website (Eventbrite), and the www.AllAmericanBall.com website. Tickets obtained from any source other than AllAmericanBall.com or Eventbrite may be invalid and may not guarantee entry.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

You will need cash for parking and coat check, if you use these services. This is a 21 and up event, so all attendees are required to bring an up-to-date photo ID and, also, please remember that you must bring the bar-coded ticket you printed in order to gain entry into the event.

Is there a minimum age to attend the event?

No, there is not a minimum age to attend the All American Ball - it is an ALL-AGES event. However you must be 21 or over, with valid ID, to consume alcohol. Also, guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. All attendees must have a ticket to enter, regardless of age.

What entertainment and food will be at the All American Inaugural Ball?

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final, and there will be no refunds for purchased tickets.

Are hotel rooms included with the All American Ball Ticket?

NO, event tickets do not include hotel rooms. You must contact the hotel directly at (202) 737-1234 for information about room availability, pricing and reservations.

What is the dress code?

Creative Black Tie Optional, with an emphasis on “patriotic, creative”! Typically men wear either a tuxedo or a suit, while women generally wear either gowns or cocktail dresses… but many add their own flavor of patriotism to brighten the evening. This is a party.. have fun with it!

Will the President-elect Donald Trump be there?

As of the time this update, President-elect Trump has not announced his inaugural ball plans. Although he is not expected to attend the All American Ball, we have a spectacular evening planned, with many special guests, and all the trappings and excitement you'd expect at a premier Inaugural Ball.
