Interested in exploring a career in writing, book publishing, magazines, digital media, and more? Hear from a panel of fiction and non-fiction authors, editors, and agents who will share their backgrounds and interests in this page-turning industry. Networking and refreshments to follow

 

Featured panelists include:

Porochista Khakpour, author of Sons and Other Flammable Objects and The Last Illusion

Allison Lorentzen, executive editor at Viking Books and founding editor at n+1

Jim Rutman, agent at Sterling Lord Literistic

Nikil Saval, author of Cubed and editor at n+1

The panel will be moderated by Sylvan Solloway, director of career services at NYU Journalism.

Authors' titles will be sold at a 20% discount, and time will be made at the end of the event for signing.
