Trish Nixon - Chief Impact Investing Officer at CoPower

As Chief Impact Investing officer at CoPower, Trish leads product development, fundraising and investor relations for CoPower. Trish has spent her career working to accelerate impact investing, primarily in private markets. In prior roles at MaRS Discovery District, she provided advisory services to investors and intermediaries, founded a social venture accelerator and led venture services for the SVX investment platform. She also spearheaded the development of the MaRS/Virgin Unite Catalyst Fund.

Trish is the 2016 Recipient of the Edward Newton Award for Social Innovation and co-recipient of the 2017 Clean50 Award for Environmental Entrepreneurship. She holds a Masters of International Relations from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.

Boris Couteaux - Corporate Relationship Catalyst at impak Finance

Boris is responsible for managing relationships with SME borrowers at impak Finance, analysing their credit risk and their impact. In parallel, he’s working on the creation of the impak Debt Fund and raising capital. In his prior role with Pollinate Energy, a social start-up working to improve the lives of India’s urban poor by giving them access to affordable products, Boris worked as City Co-founder in Kolkata, India. Before that, he worked in various positions at ING Bank in Belgium, his native country.

Boris holds a Masters in Business Engineering and Finance from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (Belgium). He also sits on the Board of Directors of Pollinate Energy Australia, and is a volunteer coach for Rise Asset Development in Toronto.

Sucheta Rajagopal - SRI Portfolio Manager and Certified Financial Planner at Mackie Research Capital Corporation

Sucheta Rajagopal has been involved in Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) for over 15 years, advising clients on how to integrate environmental, social and governance issues into their investment portfolios.

A Portfolio Manager and Certified Financial Planner at Mackie Research Capital Corp., Sucheta manages one of the largest exclusively SRI books of business in Canada. Using plain English and a practical approach, Sucheta helps clients align their investments with their values.

A trailblazer in Canadian SRI, Sucheta is excited to be helping build capacity and community in Impact Investing.

Sucheta has an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School. She is a graduate of the Canadian Securities Institute's Professional Financial Planning Program, a Certified Investment Manager (CIM), a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Sucheta has earned Canada’s Responsible Investment Advisor Certification (RIAC). She is a past President of the Board of the Responsible Investment Association, and currently chairs the board of Planet in Focus.
