Alicia Bay Laurel * House Concert in Sedona
Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (MST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Author/illustrator/singer/songwriter/guitarist Alicia Bay Laurel sings and plays original songs, accompanied by guitarist Mark Hewins, who played on her most recent album, More Songs From Living on the Earth.
Alicia will also sharel a few of the funny stories surrounding the birth of her 1970 legendary sustainable living guide, Living on the Earth, which is still in print in English, Japanese and Korean, was selected in 2012 as one of the 100 most influential American cookbooks of the 20th century (and it's not even a cookbook), and is currently part of an exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, as well as another at the West County Museum in Sonoma County, California.
A book and CD signing will follow the performance, not only for the new books Alicia is offering for sale, but also for that old copy your grandmother gave you that you colored in when you were growing up.
The event is hosted by Rhianne Newlahnd at her home.
Tickets are $12 each, and can be paid at the door, to Rhianne NewLahnd, or, in advance, from EventBrite.
