Algebra I Teacher Support Networks
D2D is piloting Teacher Support Networks in Algebra I. The idea is to offer subject- and grade-specific support, helping teachers across districts learn with and from each other and providing a remote coaches with deep expertise in the standards and strong instructional practices for Algebra I.
With no more than 8 members each, Teacher Support Networks will meet for one hour per month during the school year on a video conference call. Agendas will be facilitated by a D2D content associate and include significant opportunities for discussion. They will dive deeply into specific standards, discussing specific questions and student responses. There will be common bridge-to-practice assignments, and a team discussion board will be available for teacher support and collaboration between meetings.
The cost of this virtual PLC series is $400 per participant. You will recieve an invoice after your registration is confirmed.
The series consists of 5 sessions across the school year: January Kick-Off, February, March, April, May.
1 hour per month: 3:30-4:30 Central
All sessions will take place the second Tuesday of the month, unless the group decides on a better time/date.
