Alfresco Lunch & Learn - Santa Monica
Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM (PDT)
Santa Monica, CA
With the rapid growth of digital content, finding and managing your own files and documents is difficult. Managing the content of an organization taking into account access control, retention policies, search and disposal can be a nightmare. Tribloom, an Alfresco Partner, provides customer proven solutions to manage your information. Regardless of the filetype – whether documents or presentations, video or images - Tribloom can help you bring order to the lifecycle of your digital content from creation or ingestion to disposal or archive.
In the second half of the Lunch and Learn you will hear two case studies on current Alfresco implementations and how Alfresco can be run on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer high availability and disaster recovery.
Case Studies to be presented:
1. UC Berkeley: Alfresco is used as a free campus wide offering called Research Hub. Research Hub provides an on-premise, secure and backed up intranet to all departments, scholars and researchers on campus. Research Hub allows for full life cycle content management and archiving for the campus.
2. ESource: Alfresco was implemented on AWS as a way to respond and track customer inquiries. Alfresco provides a central repository to all customer inquiries and responses from the ESource team that allows knowledge and information to be searchable and easy to find.
