Drive at your own pace and enjoy the second Alexandria Barn Tour, Alexandria Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
The intent of our barn tour is to pay homage to these structures; some old, some new. They are an under-recognized part of our heritage, indeed a treasure! As you drive from barn to barn enjoy the rural scenery...This year six unique barns were selected for tour- goers to explore.
The tour is part of the 250th anniversary celebration of Alexandria Township!
Minimum Touring Time: 2 hours
Leisurely Touring Time: 4 hours

The purpose of the AEA is to further the mutual enjoyment that we as neighbors derive from our horses, our surroundings and our camaraderie. Our motto says it all,
"Keeping Alexandria rural, one horse at a time."

Our members work hard to maintain the only township indoor riding arena in New Jersey, the Alexandria Barn, which makes Alexandria Township unique. Proceeds from this event will go towards maintaining this unique gem so that others may continue to enjoy this facility.
