Event description

Description

This workshop is an introduction to the Alexander Technique. You'll be in a small, friendly group where you'll learn how the Alexander Technique can help you.

There will be simple explanations and demonstrations, as well as some hands-on work in a guided lying-down session. We'll have plenty of time for questions and you can find out how to take it further if you're interested.

The Alexander Technique is a way of learning to reduce muscle tension. It makes movement easier and lighter and can help with pain relief, postural issues, balance and breathing or voice problems.

If you come to this workshop you're entitled to a half-price one-to-one Alexander Technique lesson with Sheila at a later date, so bring your diary on the day.
