Once a political campaign is up and running it can be difficult to know exactly where things can improve to better turn out the vote (win the election!) and get an edge against your opponent before it’s too late. This training will provide a campaign maturity assessment to show where there might be need to more effectively allocate your campaign resources and uncover a good opportunity for more votes. This data analytic approach is a relatively new method in political campaigns and this tool is cutting edge. The assessment will:
* Measure your campaign against best practices
* Show the components of an effective campaign plan
* Tell what people and resources are needed for a campaign organization\

About the Instructor:
Cliff worked as a strategist to increase organizational effectiveness for over 20 years and applied this knowledge to a number of political campaigns including the campaign to reelect the President of the United States, Barack Obama. For political campaigns Cliff applied analytic approaches from his business and technology work to more effectively focus rapidly shifting field resources, i.e., various volunteers, assets, technology, skills, etc. resulting in a record 93% of votes with a 77% turnout for one town in a battleground state to win a national campaign. He’s applied analytics for more government transparency at the Illinois State Board of Education and at Chicago’s Inspector General's Office.
