Alcoa Public Tours

Join us for a free guided tour at one of our WA mining and refining operations.

Since 1978, Alcoa has offered tours of its WA operations, where people can see how bauxite is mined and then refined in alumina, before it is transformed into aluminium – an essential ingredient in everyday life and a green energy future.

These family-friendly tours offer the opportunity to:

• View mining operations up close
• Visit areas under rehabilitation
• Travel through an operating refinery
• Have your questions answered

During school holidays our tours are geared towards children.

Long pants (no cropped pants), long sleeves and closed-in, sturdy shoes are mandatory. If not adhered to, you will be unable to join the tour and enter our sites.

When booking, please provide the names of each individual ticket holder, including children.

Please be advised that Parent/Guardian supervision for children under the age of 16 is mandatory. We require a minimum of one adult per two children for public tours.
