Educating and informing the public about legislation important to Alaskans is a key component of Alaska Family Council’s mission. AFC is proud to present its new State Legislative Issues Briefing series this year at locations across the state. Our State Legislative Issues Briefings are free and open to the public, though your RSVP is requested as seating is limited.

Doors Open: 5:30pm AKDT, light refreshments will be served

Event Time: 6:00pm-7:00pm AKDT on Friday, June 5, 2015

Location: Salvation Army Hall, Hoonah, Alaska

These Legislative Briefings are designed to focus on pro- and anti-family bills debated this session by lawmakers and how these bills could affect Alaskans’ lives, families, and religious freedoms. We’ll also discuss practical strategies for citizens who want to have an impact on their state government and influence their local representatives.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to call Zachary Freeman at (907) 317-1343 or email zach@akfamily.org. We hope to see you there!
