**ANNOUNCEMENT: MONDAY DECEMBER 20, 2021
Due to the uncertainties of Covid, we have decided to cancel this event. All participants will receive an email with details as to refunds etc. Wishing all a safe and joyous holiday season. We look forward to getting together in more normal times.

2022 Community Music Workshop and Gathering with Alasdair Fraser

Workshop: 9:30-4:30 Pizza Dinner: 5:00-6:00 Ceilidh: 6:00-9:00
FEES:
Workshop Fee: Adults -$100, Youth 17 and under - $70. Children 17 and under should be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Pizza: $7
Ceilidh/Dance/Mask-querade" Suggested donation: $10-20.
**COVID POLICY: "Vacc'd and Masked". Participants should be fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination required upon arrival. Masks to be worn by all participants.
*** SPACES LIMITED! In the interest of social distancing, we will be limiting the number of participants. Buy your tickets early!!
- Alasdair will teach a medley of tunes, mainly by ear, and create spontaneous arrangements tailored to our large ensemble. Written music will be available.
- For players of all ages on a wide range of instruments, including fiddles, cellos, guitars, basses, woodwinds, harps, keyboards, etc.
- Instruction is geared toward intermediate to advanced musicians, though enthusiasts of all levels are welcome.
SCHEDULE:
- 9:00am doors open for registration. Please bring proof of vaccination and wear mask. Coffee/tea provided.
- 9:30am Workshop Part I begins
-12:30pm Lunch will be provided.
- 1:30pm Workshop Part II
- 4:30pm Workshop ends
- 5:00pm Pizza dinner - please purchase ticket separately.
- 6:00- 9:00pm Ceilidh/Dance/Mask-querade - Hosted by the glorious duo - Junet Bedayn and Delphine Griffith. Prizes awarded for most creative masks and more - COVID protocol to be maintained during evening event. Proof of vaccination required upon arrival. Community members, family and friends are welcome to attend - a contribution of $10-20 would be greatly appreciated.
January 9: ** Plans are afoot for a fiddle flashmob/gathering on Sunday morning at 11am somewhere special! Details TBA!!!
