“Raising Awareness” is a commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) prevention curriculum designed for parents and caregivers of girls, boys, and transgender youth. The curriculum will provide parents and caregivers with the necessary knowledge to protect their children from unintentionally falling prey to CSEC. This interactive curriculum includes large group discussions, small group activities, and multimedia. Participants will learn how to facilitate the workshops with parents and caregivers at their agencies and their communities.

There are 2 versions of the curriculum. The first is a 90-minute workshop, which provides an overview of CSEC and ways to keep children safe. The second version is a 3 1-hour workshop module. This version of the curriculum provides a more in-depth look at CSEC and strategies that parents can use to keep children safe.
